PC Wires and Strands

Pre-stressed Concrete (PC) Wires High Tensile (HT) Wire and Strand for pre-stresses in concrete structure by virtue of improved proportional limit, higher ductility combined with higher strengths. PC Wire is made of High Carbon Steel. PC Wires can be supplied in drawn or drawn straightened or stress relieved conditions. They can also be supplied in plain or indented finish. These are manufactured to Indian or various International Standards and to the specific requirement of customer.

Plain PC as drawn wire has high tensile strength without stress relieving process.This is a Plain wire with smooth surface.

PC Single Plain Wire (Stress Relieved) Plain PC wire also is known as smooth PC wire. It is named so, due to the smooth surface treatment of steel wire, without ribs not indented. Plain PC wire has high tensile strength.

PC Single Indented Wire (Stress Relieved) It is a kind of PC wire which surface is indented. Compared with the plain PC wire, it can heavily combine the steel wire with concrete in order to transfer the desired compressive force from the steel wire to the concrete.
